Market season is kicking off this weekend at Sunshine Bay. The Sunshine Bay Community Market will run every Sunday from June 15th to the end of September. We are really excited to be setting up weekly at this wonderful community event. So, what does this mean and where will you find all your favourite foods?
Farm Stand is Always Open - our farm stand will continue to be stocked and open daily. All day, everyday, during daylight hours you will still be able to come on down to the stand and pickup your eggs, veggies, crackers, frozen bread, fruit, treats, etc.
At theMarket - we will be bringing a whole pile of fresh baked bread and bagels, veggies, fruit, crackers, etc. (anything that's not frozen). We will be bringing a wide variety of great food to the table each and every week. We will not be bringing eggs to market, they will be stocked in the farm stand. The market is where you will be able to pickup bread on a first come, first serve basis. We will continue to stock frozen bread and bagels in the farm stand.
Pre-Orders - we are going to experiment with taking pre-orders for Sunday Pickup at the Farm Stand. If you are not headed to the market or would like to secure an order you can place your bread order and pick it up at the farm stand. We will not be bringing pre-orders to market. We are going to try out this system to see what demand is. If demand is too high, we will have to reassess and adjust our system.

Pickup will begin at 9am on Sundayat the Farm Stand for any items ordered this week. Please do not come before 9am on Sunday. I will have your pre-ordered items in bags with your names on them.

#4 - New and Improved Farm Stand Parking
We harrowed paradise and put up a parking lot.
We have cleared a good portion of the old riding ring and created a bigger area for folks to park. We have also taken down fences and created a clear walking path to the stand. As you enter the driveway, you can now make a sharp right turn before the stables and head down to the parking area. There are signs out to help guide you on your way. If you prefer the old parking area, that spot is still clear and available for your use.
#5 - Fresh Pizza Dough
If you're thinking of making pizza, run to the farm stand right now and get yourself a container of fresh pizza dough. It's stocked in the fridge until Thursday in some re-purposed yogurt containers. Its delicious, fluffy and flavourful.

LOCATION
Our address is 655 Ferguson Rd. As you drive down the driveway you will pass some old stables. Just beyond the stables is an open area you can park in. Our Farm Stand Cabin is located on the right (north side). You will need to head down the pathway and continue around to the front of the building and enter the cabin off the front deck. Friendly reminder, things are still a little rough around the edges. Please bare with us as we refurbish and get our little stand in shape!
