FARM NEWS (5 Notes)
#1 - LONG WEEKEND MARKET MADNESS
(and where you can find us in the coming weeks)
We will be at the Sunshine Bay Market this Sunday with all the goodness! We'll have the usual bread, bagels, breakfast buns and so many veggies! We can't wait to see you all there.
We will NOT be at the market on Sunday September 7th but we will be stocking the farm stand with fresh baking and heaps of veg. Next week the kids go back to school and we're going to lessen our load a little.
As we move into fall we should be seeing more greens hitting the shelves and so we're exploring ways to help you get those greens into your kitchen. We have washed and chopped gorgeous kale and chard and are offering these prepped bags in the farm stand. This is the way we like to prep these veggies in our household for easy sautéing or throwing in an omelette, soup or pasta. We hope you enjoy them.
#3 - WAFFLES AND CRACKERS ARE BACK
We loaded up with waffles last weekend... and they're moving quick. We're exploring ways to get more of these churned out on a regular basis
#4 - NO PRE-ORDERS THIS WEEK
We have noticed a real decline in this offering over the season. So while we're still in market-mode we will hold on this option. If you have an event or cannot make it to market, feel free to reach out and we can see what we can do. In October we will kick off Farm Stand Fridays again and we can explore what will work best for everyone through the fall/winter season.
