FARM NEWS (5 Notes)
#1 - No Sourdough Loaves This Week BUT ... THERE WILL BE BAGELS!
We have a busy week this week trying to beat the snow, ice and the bears. We need to lessen the workload for our weekend which means, sadly, we will not be doing sourdough loaves this week. We will, however, be doing some exciting bagel R&D (my idea of a wild Friday night). I have been doing some research and we want to see if we can make our bagels even better. I'll be trailing a few different changes and flavours and we will have the bagels out for sale on Saturday morning. If you'd like to see how we did, come and pick some up and let us know what you think! If you have any ideas for flavours you'd like to see... let me know! We'll have the fire on and maybe some other treats.

#2 - Pre-Order Here for NOVEMBER 30th
If you'd like to lock-in your order for bread for the following week (November 30th) while its top of mind, please go ahead. I will send out another link next week. Here is the link: https://forms.gle/5QNAzk283RTPKFB26 to place your pre-orders. If the form is not accessible for you, please just reply to this note or send me a message and I'll put it in for you.
We would like to explore getting some gift certificates made for our customers to gift to friends and family this holiday season. If you would be interested in gifting someone a credit to our farm stand or market stall (2025 season), send me a note back. If we have enough interest, I'll get something pretty printed up for you to wrap up this holiday season.
If you are interested in putting your paper-bags back into circulation, please bring your own bag to pickup your bread, tear the tape and remove your goodies and then stack your bag back on the counter. I'll re-use bags that have not been brought home.
We are coming to the end of our veggies. We are doing what we can to collaborate with other local growers to keep us in squash, onions, garlic and other storage crops. We're committed to doing what we can to keep the variety coming through the winter and to keep your favourite prepared staples rolling. If you have any ideas or recommendations, please feel free to throw them at me. We are already dreaming up ways to extend to a wider variety of local offerings next season. But in the meantime, we can look forward to some cold Saturday mornings... we'll put the fire on and keep the warm fresh bread and community vibes going.

Our address is 655 Ferguson Rd. As you drive down the driveway you will pass some old stables. Just beyond the stables is an open area you can park in. Our Farm Stand Cabin is located on the right (north side). You will need to head down the pathway and continue around to the front of the building and enter the cabin off the front deck. Friendly reminder, things are still a little rough around the edges. Please bare with us as we refurbish and get our little stand in shape!
We love feedback! Please feel free to reach out and let us know what you think of any of the products we have on offer.
Payment is through the honour system. We will have a cash box on the table. If you do not have cash you can e-transfer to emily@growwild.com. All proceeds from our sales go back into the farm.
