FARM NEWS (5 Notes)
#1 - WAFFLES + STRAWBERRIES + TREATS
|
On top of all the ridiculously delicious fresh eggs and veggies that we have stocked in the farm stand... we also have made a fresh batch of waffles and we have strawberries to top it off. I've also made a batch of strawberries + cream fruit leather that we will be popping into the stand in the next day or two. This is made with strawberries, a bit of cane sugar and low-fat, high protein yogurt. Come check it out.

#2 - NEW MARKET PRODUCT - LOADED BREAKFAST BUNS
|
We are experimenting with a new product, the loaded breakfast bun. These will be a fun way for us to let our creativity flow and feature fresh garden produce each and every week. Last week we did buns with sesame seeds, garlic scapes, cheese, fresh herbs and an egg. I wonder what we'll come up with this week... could be sweet, could be savoury! You'll have to pop by the market to find out!

Orders open until Friday Evening

Pickup will begin at 9am on Sunday at the Farm Stand for any items ordered this week. Please do not come before 9am on Sunday. I will have your pre-ordered items in bags with your names on them.

#5 - THE FLOW OF MARKET SEASON
|
Farm Stand is Always Open - our farm stand will continue to be stocked and open daily. All day, everyday, during daylight hours you will still be able to come on down to the stand and pickup your eggs, veggies, crackers, frozen bread, fruit, treats, etc.
|
At the Market - we will be bringing a whole pile of fresh baked bread and bagels, veggies, fruit, crackers, etc. (anything that's not frozen). We will be bringing a wide variety of great food to the table each and every week. The market is where you will be able to pickup fresh bread on a first come, first serve basis.
|
Pre-Orders - we are going to experiment with taking pre-orders for Sunday Pickup at the Farm Stand. If you are not headed to the market or would like to secure an order you can place your bread order and pick it up at the farm stand. We will not be bringing pre-orders to market.

Our address is 655 Ferguson Rd. When you pull into the driveway you can turn right just before the stables. There are signs directing you down to the farm stand parking lot. You then walk across the lawn to the little farm stand cabin.

Payment is through the honour system. We have a cash box on the table. If you do not have cash you can e-transfer to emily@growwild.com. All proceeds from our sales go back into the farm.
