FARM NEWS (3 Notes)

#1 - FRESH BAKING THIS WEEK

We're back to baking this week! We're preparing to do both sourdough loaves and bagels for this Friday morning at 12pm. So be sure to pop by for some freshies.

On offer for pickup this Friday and Saturday:

  • Cinnamon Raisin Loaves - $11
  • Cheese and Garlic Loaves - $12
  • Seedy Whole Wheaty Loaves - $11
  • Black Olive + Olive Oil Loaves - $12
  • Seedy Bagels - Mixed + Sesame - $2 each
  • Everything Bagels - $2 each
  • Cinnamon Raisin Bagels - $2.50 each - NEW PRICE
  • Cheese Bagels - $2.50 each
#2 - SATURDAY MORNING BAGELS - BEGINNING NEXT WEEK

Starting next week we will be trailing Saturday Morning Bagels. We will be splitting up our efforts a little and working towards a new rhythm of hot and fresh Saturday Morning Bagels that will be stocked in the stand for your enjoyment.

Next week we will bake Fresh Bread for Friday May 15th and then Hot 'n Fresh Bagels on Saturday May 16th. We hope we can continue on with our Saturday Morning Bagel Routine through the summer once we get going at the Sunshine Bay Markets. This means we will do bagels on Saturday Morning at the Farm Stand and then it will be fresh bread, breakfast buns and other treats for Sunday mornings at the market. Getting all that baking in before 7am is just too tight a timeline for us to also do bagels for the markets.

When I was a kid it was tradition for someone to go out and pickup bagels on a Saturday morning to accompany fresh cream cheese, smoked salmon, capers, red onion and a squeeze of lemon. Core memory for me. Maybe we can be part of a new Saturday Morning Tradition for you!

Pickup will begin at 12pm on Friday at the Farm Stand for any items ordered this week. I will have your pre-ordered items in bags with your names on them.

NOTE: Our farm stand is open daily during daylight hours, 365 days a year. Come on by!
LOCATION
Our address is 655 Ferguson Rd. When you pull into the driveway, turn right just after the silo and park in the open area. Walk down on the pathway in the direction of the lake to the front of the building. This is the farm stand.
