#1 - Final Market of the Season + a BIG Thank You.
|
The market season is coming to a close and we are super excited to be part of the Harrop Harvest Fest again this year on Sunday Sept 15, Its our final hurrah! We are so grateful to this wonderful community for all the support we have been shown over this season. Its been such a joy to bring you all food... dreams coming true for us, truly. We are excited to be a part of this market community and to continue to further support food security in our region. We are excited to keeping growing with you, and for you!

#2 - Farm Stand Saturdays beginning Sept 21 - Pre-Orders in by Thursday at 8am.
|
We are going to experiment with starting up our Farm Stand Saturdays again now that the market season has come to a close. We are going to open up the floor for pre-orders for bread and bagels so we can better estimate quantities. We will take orders up until Thursday at 8am, this will give me time to ensure we have sufficient ingredients to fill all the orders. We will aim to always bake a few extra for drop-ins or new-comers. I'll do my best to send out an email reminder by Wednesdays. Pickups will be available from 10am and available for pickup in Nelson around 3pm. Please feel free to pass on our website and information to friends and family as we head into this farm stand season.

- Sourdough Bagels - $2 each - Simple with Seeds + Cinnamon Raisin
- Sourdough Crackers - $7/bag
- Sourdough Waffles - $8/bag (Farm Stand Only)
- Dreamcatcher Farm Jams + Jellies - Varied (Farm Stand Only)
- Frozen Strawberries - $10/450g bags (Farm Stand Only)
- Chard, Beet Greens and Kale Bundles - $4/bunch
- Fresh herb bunches (mint, oregano, basil, sage, dill, etc.) - $3/bunch
- Apples - Fresh eating and delicious! - $3/lb
- Squash - $6/kg
- Prune Plums - $10/quart
- Shishito Peppers - $5/pint
- Hot Wax Peppers - $4/bag
- Cauliflower - $5/lb

FYI - Our farm stand is open everyday. If you want to pop in for any of the long-lasting products like eggs, frozen items, crackers, etc. These are always available. Throughout the season, veggies will also be stocked as they come ready and fresh. Saturday morning is when we will begin doing our Farm Stand Saturday with all the fresh baking beginning at 10am.

Our address is 655 Ferguson Rd. As you drive down the driveway you will pass some old stables. Just beyond the stables is an open area you can park in. Our Farm Stand Cabin is located on the right (north side). You will need to head down the pathway and continue around to the front of the building and enter the cabin off the front deck.
Friendly reminder, things are still a little rough around the edges. Please bare with us as we refurbish and get our little stand in shape!

Payment is through the honour system. We will have a cash box on the table. If you do not have cash you can e-transfer to emshaking@gmail.com. All proceeds from our sales go back into the farm.
