#1 - Pre-Orders this week are for fundraising!

This week we are donating 50% of our sales to the Harrop Procter Ferry Committee Society! As an add-on to the 'Our Ship is Going Down' fundraiser happening this weekend, we are donating our time and profits back to our community effort to keep our ferry service 24/7. So feel free to stock up for a good cause, or buy a loaf for a friend :)

Pre-Orders are now open for all fresh micro-bakery sourdough products. Please click this link: https://forms.gle/5QNAzk283RTPKFB26 to place your pre-orders. If the form is not accessible for you, please reply to this note or send me a message and I'll put it in for you.

We will be taking orders until Friday morning. I will bake extra items for folks who want to pop in and see what we've got.

Pickup will begin at 10am on Saturday at the Farm Stand for any items ordered this week. Please do not come before 10am on Saturday. I am often baking until the very last minute, I'm tied to the oven... and need all the time to get things set up. I will have your pre-ordered items in bags with your names on them. Any other loose items on the table will be available for sale.

#2 - Feature Bagels This Week

This week bagel options will be:
  • Simple with Seeds
  • Cheese - These are $2.50 each because cheese is expensive.
  • Lots more at the fundraiser!
#3 - 'Our Ship is Going Down' Fundraiser this Weekend! - We're bringing Bagels!

In addition to 50% of our Farm Stand Micro-Bakery sales going to the cause, we are also participating in this weekends event. The event begins at 12pm. There will be a fire ceremony and live performances beginning at 12:30 and tables with refreshments and goodies set up by donation. We will be providing fresh bagels and some accompaniments like cream cheeses, butter and jam for folks to enjoy at the event or to pack up and take home. We look forward to seeing everyone out and about in the snow-shine!

If you could, please take some time to fill this out and help us grow. We welcome and truly appreciate any feedback, both positive and negative. So, let us hear what you really think! What we learn from you will help guide our decision making as we plan, plant and prep for the upcoming farm stand and market season as well as inform our broader planning for our place in the community.

The survey will be open for the month of February.

#5 - Time Off Fresh Baking :(

We will be taking a few weeks off of fresh baking. There will be no FRESH micro-bakery sourdough products for the weekends of Feb 15th, Feb 22nd and March 1st. We will be taking this time to spend with our kids as well as shift gears toward the growing season. We will be refreshing our crackers and waffles as well as doing our best to stock frozen loaves and bagels in our freezer. Egg supply remains slow and steady. The farm stand will remain open and we look forward to baking fresh goodies for you on March 8th! We appreciate your understanding.

In honesty... I'm going to miss it more than you. It truly brings us such joy to be a small part of your household groceries... seeing you all come by the farm and bring your positive energy to the land and into our lives is the most energizing force for us. So... another big and sincere thank you for your ongoing support!

NOTE: Our farm stand is open daily during daylight hours and is stocked with lots of fresh fruit and veggies, eggs, jams, waffles, crackers and more!. Come on by anytime!

Our address is 655 Ferguson Rd. As you drive down the driveway you will pass some old stables. Just beyond the stables is an open area you can park in. Our Farm Stand Cabin is located on the right (north side). You will need to head down the pathway and continue around to the front of the building and enter the cabin off the front deck.
Friendly reminder, things are still a little rough around the edges. Please bare with us as we refurbish and get our little stand in shape!

PAYMENT
Payment is through the honour system. We will have a cash box on the table. If you do not have cash you can e-transfer to emily@growwild.com. All proceeds from our sales go back into the farm.
